Meet The Coach

Hey, my names Ryan.

​

I'll be your coach on the Mind-Body Strength Series.

 

I created this program because I am passionate about using strength training for health and longevity as we get older and not just for weight loss or building huge amounts of muscle. The huge number of benefits that strength training has on our health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally, are undeniable. 

​

I say this from personal experience, having used strength training as a way to help me recover from a major health problem 8 years ago. 

​

I also strongly believe that health, fitness and wellbeing shouldn't stop when we leave the gym. Which is why I like to take a more holistic approach and look at how our nutrition can help to fuel and nourish our bodies, as well as looking at improving sleep routines, stress management and mindfulness. This is key to not only feel great and perform better in our daily lives but also to set a good example to those around us, such as our kids, friends and families.

Who is the Mind-Body Strength Series for?

This program is for anyone in their 30s, 40s or 50s who are

  • Feeling low on confidence

  • Low on energy, feeling sluggish

  • Stressed from a busy work/home life

  • Want to live a more active, fulfilling life

  • Want to perform better daily

  • Be able to run around after the kids/grandkids without getting out of breath

  • Be able to perform daily tasks easily later in life

  • Increase longevity

Whilst weight loss is likely to occur due to increased exercise and being more aware of your nutrition, it is not the main focus of this program.

 

What is the cost of the Mind-Body Strength Series?

Due to the different options for 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week on the program it's best to find out which option suits you best as an individual. We can go over this either during your free taster session or we can arrange a quick chat over the phone. Either way, fill out the quick form here and I'll get in touch with you. The program is 16 weeks long (with an option to continue after that point) which gives us a good amount of time to implement sustainable changes into your lifestyle.

Where does the 1 to 1 coaching take place?

All of the 1 to 1 coaching sessions take place in my private PT studio in Bexhill. An extremely supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to feel at ease and become strong and confident. As well as ask any questions you can think of relating to training, nutrition, sleep, mindset!

Do I need experience with working out or going to the gym?

You don't need any experience at all, the Mind-Body Strength Series is perfectly suited to beginners as well as those returning to training after some time off.

​

What happens during the taster session?

This is the perfect opportunity for us to meet and talk through the program, what you personally want to get out of it and why you decided to sign up and also to see if we're a good fit for each other! I will take you through a light session so you get an idea of how things will work and you can ask any questions you may have. Don't worry, this will not be a super intense session with me shouting at you like a drill sergeant (that's not how I coach my clients!)

What happens after I sign up?

After signing up you will receive an email containing a link to gain access to my coaching app, this is where you can find your workouts from the program. This is at no extra cost to you. You will also receive a welcome pack via email (usually straight away however sometimes this can take a couple of hours) containing everything you need to know about the Mind-Body Strength Series as well as what I expect from you as a client and what you should expect from me as your coach. If we haven't already done so during the taster session, I will give you a call to arrange which days and times are available for your sessions in my gym.
